This is Marco Fritsche’s new buddy

Wohlen, September 2023. As a presenter, Marco Fritsche has been in his element in front of the camera in the television studio for 25 years, as well as in the cowshed. Since he also moderates conferences and events throughout Switzerland, he is pleased to be on the road as JAC's new brand ambassador in the all-electric JAC e-JS4 in a sustainable and CO2-free manner – in old Fritsche with a modern carriage, so to speak.

Wohlen, September 2023. As a presenter, Marco Fritsche has been in his element in front of the camera in the television studio for 25 years, as well as in the cowshed. Since he also moderates conferences and events throughout Switzerland, he is pleased to be on the road as JAC’s new brand ambassador in the all-electric JAC e-JS4 in a sustainable and CO2-free manner – in old Fritsche with a modern carriage, so to speak.

Marco Fritsche is known as the chief matchmaker for farmers. Since 2008, the 47-year-old from Appenzell has been hosting the popular show “Bauer, ledig, sucht …” to 3+ and has already provided some love luck. Now Fritsche is also making Swiss nature happy: As the new brand ambassador of the JAC car brand, he now drives the all-electric and fully equipped JAC e-JS4 emission-free on the road to drive from his home to the most remote corners of Switzerland. “That motivates me for at least the next 25 years,” says the presenter with a broad and satisfied smile.

“The electricity mix in my more than 300-year-old wooden house in Appenzell consists of hydropower and solar power. That’s why my ecological conscience won’t bother me so much in the future when I’m on my way from eastern Switzerland to a farmer in the Bernese Oberland!” says the native country bumpkin, as he describes himself. Because his JAC not only suits him thanks to its ecological drive, but also visually reflects the mixture of tradition and future, Fritsche is doubly proud of his new vehicle.

Fritsche owes this pride to Garage Auto Kunz AG in Wohlen AG, the Swiss general importer of JAC. Adrian Büchler, CEO of Auto Kunz, who is involved with the company in the region in various ways and attaches great importance to sustainability, says: “The young JAC brand wants to establish itself in Switzerland. In order to increase awareness, especially in rural areas, Fritsche is the perfect brand ambassador; he will soon have visited every farm in Switzerland.” He continues: “Fritsche bridges the gap between urban and rural areas and has high mobility and transport requirements; for such people, the JAC e-JS4 is ideal.”

Marco Fritsche started his TV career in 1999 at the TV station Swizz (later Viva Switzerland), where he worked as a VJ (video journalist) in addition to his journalism studies. Since then, he has presented countless formats on SRF, Pro7 Switzerland, Tele Ostschweiz and, for the past 15 years, especially on 3+ («Big Pictures», «Die 40…», «Swiss Music Awards»). As a presenter, the Appenzeller is not only familiar with the new episodes of “Bauer, ledig, sucht…” a welcome guest in the Swiss parlours, but on the roads between Appenzell and Geneva again and again – with his new buddy JAC.
